This is my ideal 20 race f1 calendar as bernie says we wont get more than 20. My criteria for this is each country can only have 1 grand prix and must have held a grandprix since 1980, if there hasnt been one then it cant be a favourable F1 circuit.

I have included a good mix of historic tracks and modern ones, unlike today where the lifeless modern tracks are taking over. some of them have atmosphere and that is why i included them.

1. Australia - Albert Park
2. Malaysia - Sepang
3. South Africa - Kyalami
4. San Marino - Imola
5. Spain - Jerez
6. Monaco - Monte Carlo
7. Great Britain - Brands Hatch
8. Netherlands - Zandvoort
9. Canada - Montreal
10. USA - Long Beach
11. France - Magny Cours
12. Portugal - Estoril
13. Germany - Nurburgring
14. Hungary - Budapest
15. Italy - Monza
16. Belgium - Spa
17. Singapore - Marina Bay
18. Japan - Suzuka
19. Brazil - Interlagos
20. Abu Dhabi - Yas Marina

Countries to miss out
N/A. Austria - A1 Ring
N/A. Turkey - Istanbul
N/A. South Korea - Yeongam (I think has potential however)
N/A. Argentina - Buenos Aires (just to many straights)
N/A. Bahrain - Sakhir (ok track but 0% life)
N/A. China - Shanghai (my most hated track ever)
N/A. Mexico - Mexico City (just not suited to F1)

Not got time to be as thorough as you but on my definate IN list would be

Silverstone
Spa
Monaco
Suzuka
Monza
Australia (I dont know which one cos I cant remember)
Canada
Istanbul park
Interlagos (if they fix it up a bit so bits dont fall off)
Singapore(Kindov like the razamataz setting)
Osterichring (love the setting)
Id have to think hard beyond this...bet Ive missed some gems

Any way OUT would be
Bahrain
Barcelona
Valencia
Magney cours
Yas Island

In fact most Tilke tracks except Istanbul park. Silverstone refused to use him for their upgrade, and its ace!
Silverstone managing director Richard Phillips said they chose rival company Populous to produce their new Arena circuit because they didn’t want to risk someone ‘wrecking’ the track.
Tilke is waaaaaaay too boring most of the time

N/A. Mexico - Mexico City (just not suited to F1)

Monza
Suzuka
Interlagos
Nurburgring (90's layout)
Imola
Jerez
Estoril (Pre-1995 layout)
Österreichring
Watkins Glen
Hermanos Rodríguez
Adelaide
Donington Park
Dijon

My list is similar....save a few small changes. The Australian GP was always a better spectacle at Adelaide even though it was a street circuit, I agree with Brands over Silverstone, the Nordschlieffe, Osterreichring and old Hokenheim are must haves in any fantasy list. Maybe I'm just a fan of the "old" challenging tracks.

1. Australia - Adelaide
2. Malaysia - Sepang
3. Portugal - Estoril
4. San Marino - Imola
5. Spain - Catalunya
6. Monaco - Monte Carlo
7. Great Britain - Brands Hatch
8. European - Hokenheim (old circuit)
9. Canada - Montreal
10. USA - Watkin's Glen
11. France - Bugatti Circuit (Le Mans)
12. Austria - Osterreichring
13. Germany - Nurburgring (Nordschlieffe)
14. Hungary - Budapest
15. Italy - Monza
16. Belgium - Spa
17. Singapore - Marina Bay
18. Japan - Suzuka
19. Brazil - Interlagos
20. Abu Dhabi - Yas Marina

1 Monza
2 Spa
3 Silverstone
4 Imola
5 Monaco - tradition I guess
6 Sepang
7 Singapore – new night circuit, get rid of the street circuit
8 Susuka
9 Interlagos – facilities upgraded
10 Hungaroring – circuit modified maybe something like ….. move turn 12 closer to 11. Turn 14 becomes more a right-hander than a hairpin which adds turn 15 which becomes a higher speed curve
11 India – if the circuit doesn’t work, fix it
12 Montreal
13 Yas Marina
14 The Brickyard
15 Adelaide
16 Nurburgring
17 Catalunya
18 France – La Mans circuit – didn’t think of this for some reason so glad to copy from another list already posted
19 Estoril
20 China – new circuit – the design to be created/picked from a reality tv show “F1’s Next BB Circuit – without the turkey slapping”

Alternate 20 - seeming as this is make believe, then, the “if I had a magic wand and could make the place safe for F1 cars and drivers” it would have to be Bathurst (but without any booze restrictions).

I cant count 20 but so far my favorites are Spa,Canada,Monaco and Turkey.Actually Turkey is one of my faves because of 8th turn and because its in my country.I would get extremely upset if it will be out of calender.

that is a good point, we all call for certain countries to be left out but if the Australian GP ever got left out I would be devastated. Better off just not giving countries GPs if it won't stay for a long time. save the heartake

Totally agree with that.6 years is quite a short time.

Also,i have heard about a 2nd GP in Italy.I hated that idea. There shouldnt be more than 1 GP in a country.Lots of countries should taste that feeling not particular ones.

Technically countries are not supposed to have more than 1 GP. They have been getting around this for a long time in Europe, by having a "European GP". So, there were 2 GP's in Spain this year. This practice has been going on for some time.

You might also count Monaco as either French or Italian in some ways. The proposed Rome GP will be designated as the European GP (yes this would mean the end of Valencia).
Perhaps we could stage a Vatican GP, staged at Imola and then we could have 3 GP's in Italy.

Those rules make it only ''technically'' They should get over that. What should be removed is races such as European GP(I still couldnt understand the point of making a ''European'' GP and what shouldnt be added is like the Vatican GP.I agree that there are lots of F1 fans in Italy but this country is so in the bussiness, which makes it normal to have that much fans. But for example Turkey, has no connection with the sport. But still, there are lots of fans. Some of them have been following the races for such long time.Also,8 year old boys in my sister's class are even talking about races and some of them are big supporters. My country really doesnt deserve to be out of the calendar.
