Driving is the only thing I love about F1

One of the many quotes on this page, it's clearly evident how unhappy he was in Formula 1. Such a shame.

Kimi and James Hunt will always be my favourite drivers, they were never afraid to speak their mind and could care less what people thought of them.

Cheers

When asked why he missed a presentation from Pele to Michael Schumacher in Brazil 06, "I was having a s***" .

Lol :D

When he was in Ralli of Turkey he said that he was not going to come back to F1.I wonder why he doesnt like being in F1,he was very succesful and had many fans.I want him to come back but he probably wouldnt.

Hmm.. not really.. in F1 there are all the "scandals" such as Crash-gate, spy-gate, lie-gate, now the team orders-gate.. he just couldn't stand all that.
Also, the politics in F1 is more evident than in the other sports because of a figure like Bernie Ecclestone (and Max Mosley).

Kimi is funny but I rather like Mika's quotes.
All those, yeah, good race, no problems...

It always seemed to me Kimi loved driving, but was battle weary from all the politics and pr stuff of the culture there, and had no interest in the glamour, just the pure racing part, which these days is a tiny vestige of the animal. He probably also like the pay. But maybe it's just not worth it to him.
