Should some tracks occasionally be setup to run in the reverse direction?

Yes, Definitely!

Probably not, there are too many obstacles.

How tough would it be to set the tracks up to be raced in reverse direction every second year? Obviously the pits and the safety equipment would have to be changed, but this is hardly a problem for a sport that dabbles in the millions every week.

What are the real hurdles of making this happen? It can't just be the setup of the equipment. Even the fan location wouldn't have to changed, so that's not a problem.

Does anyone think, like me, that this would be incredible interesting, especially seeing how individual drivers do on the same course, "counter"clockwise (or vice-versa on counter courses), not just in their own timing, but against other drivers. I have a feeling that some would excel in one direction and disappoint in another (albeit by a second (after figuring out the actual difference in time, which on some tracks would be significant due to the type of corners and design of the straights), but still), while others would not and would handle either way the same (I feel this would probably be the case with the more careful drivers rather then those who take serious chances, because they know the course).

What do you guys think? Shall we petition the gods of FIA through prayer? Perhaps another method would be better..

ps. I've never done a poll, I'll try one now. We'll see if it works out.. Sorry if that sort of thing is annoying!
