WTF?!? Both wheels basically flew off at the same time in the braking zone at 310km/h! I've been watching F1 for many years, but I have NEVER seen anything like that! :yikes: And Marc Surer in his live commentary confirmed it as well - he's never seen anything like this. Could well have to do with that big bump in the track - front wing problems for Glock before that incident already hinted at this...

Talk about F1 being predictable and boring :P

That looked so strange, not surprised he's a bit freaked out.

'Hey, where are my wheels going?'

Alarming that both front wheels went over the barrier where the crowd were. One was found close to the barrier & the other flew 3 times further over the grass into a pond.

It was a failure of the front right suspension arm.

Coulthard has a similar thing in Malaysia but it was in a corner

And then there was Kimi at the Nurburgring but that was a tyre thing

Has to be brake related! That's crazy!

watching it again on my computer and not my iphone its definitely brake related. the hubs just exploded sending the wheel and tyres flying. Wonder if Buemi uses the same brake setup as Vettel?

Did anyone watch the wheels.
BBC iPlayer.
The wheel just felw on, hit a lump orbarrier and then flew over the fence and carried on going.

Yep, you can see spectators getting their photograph taken with it afterwards.

The Raikonnen one was when you weren't allowed to change tires. Not The FIA's finest hour.
