Over the first two races this season, it's become clear that Red Bull have reliability issues. This was also apparent last season. Now I think Red Bull are the quickest car over a short distance, and this has been shown in qualifying and at the start of races. But the thing is, it's pointless being quick if your car can't finish the race. I also noticed that it only seems to be Vettel getting these problems. Does anyone else think that Vettel could be overly abusive of his car? Also, can you see Red Bull winning the championship?

Did you not see what Webber was doing to his in last race? I think Vettel has just been unlucky, Anyway brake discs (the part which failed on Vettels car) are not Red Bull components but are sourced from another party so it could have happened to anybody

The failed brake disc on Seb's car was actually caused by a pit-stop error.

The wheel nut worked itself loose and the wheel wobbled so much that i think it effected the brake disc..

correct me if i am wrong though..

No, you're right

And Dunk, Webber is suffering nowhere near the same kind of problems as Vettel is.

But he is driving his car just as agressively as Vettel which gets me thinking Vettel has just been unlucky that he has had problems and Webber hasnt

Hmm, maybe. It could also be that, in the last race, his pit crew were in such a rush to get him out as quickly as possible that they were eager to for him to be back in the lead?

Car's rubbish. End of,

It's quite clearly not, just that the drivers are using it too aggressively and/or the mechanics are rushing. It's probably the fastest car on the grid and once its problems are sorted Red Bull will be away.

Exactly

But that might not be for a while, could give the other teams a chance to get a big lead like Brawn did last year.

BREMBO anounced that it wasnt the brakes fault and RB accepted that...saying that it was the wheel that stopped suddenly. So 100% RBs mistake.... It is wierd tho that in 2 races we never exactly learned what was wrong with he car.... isnt it???

We didn't need to learn, we already know.

Adrian Newey designed it, and Geoff Willis and Patrick Head weren't around to keep an eye on him.
