It does seem American biased.
I absolutely loathe Wal-Mart and I am honestly disgusted over the fact that it even appears on this list.
Not a big fan of Apple, either. Or McDonald's.
It does seem American biased.
That's because the people surveyed were it's readers, business people, not your average global citizen. So what they admire is the profitability in a company and it's continuous long term stock price growth. So I'm not surprised there are as many American companies on the list.

thats not the issue, the issue is calling the list WORLDS most admired companies.... but then again you Yanks like to label things WORLD when talking about American things.... the world series of baseball, world champion basketball teams right....

I neither wrote the article nor name anything "world" so I'd appreciate if you don't throw the "you yanks" term around here... if that was the case we'd all be on a Nascar forum.
I agree with the world champion term, and it can only truly be applied in the Olympics, and real "world championship" competitions. Then again where do the top tier (global) players compete in basketball, baseball, football, and hokey take place?
so what? the top tier Australian Footballers play in the Australian Football League yet we dont go around saying the World Champion moniker to the winning teams here

Hmmm... the AUSTRALIAN football league. How modest.

Is it Australian? And being Australian isn't exactly a positive thing now is it. . .
