Existing teams - the car is based on last year's Red Bull. Pretty good basis to start from.

You're right of course. Not a lot has changed.

Well, doesn't the rule stipulate that they have to design their own car? Isn't that a sneaky bypass of the rule?

It would be harsh if they were forced to completely redesign their old car, not to mention the problem of enforcing that rule too. If you get me...

No, the rule is less strict than that. They own the designs to their car from last year, it just so happens those designs were drawn up by a third party in the UK (The Red Bull design team which operates as a separate company). The rule only bans the use of that third party and teams sharing design teams in general.

Incidentally, take a look under the nose of the Toro Rosso. They have a unique way of attaching the front wing.

I know - I was simply throwing that in as a discussion point similar to a reflex many McLaren fans seem to have when it comes to anything Ferrari :P

Why does that picture not surprise me at all?
:hehe:
But speaking of the design, Toro Rosso should be treated like an existing car/team. And I think that the car is lovely despite not looking much different.
