Red Bull will unveil their 2010 car ahead of the second winter test in Jerez on 10 February. Adrian Newey, the brains behind the design, said the team didn't want to launch too early as the car was "evolutionary".

This is posted in the BBC F1 Gossip Column but am intrigued just a jab at their opponents or genuine bit of genius. am sure it cant be something vitally different with the tech regs what you reckon ?

It's probably decent enough given the company behind the team!

Newey is a true magician so I have no doubt his design is different but evolutionary (in the context that it will revolutionize current concepts) is yet to be seen.

Ferrari - 300mi
Mercedes - 270mi
McLaren - 250mi
Red Bull - 230mi

I know budget determines alot but exactly what does this information pertain too regarding the topic?

Evolutionary as in like a brand spanking new car? I thought that their 2010 car was just gonna be an evolution of the RB5?

there is a difference between evolutionary and revolutionary.

i thought the red bull last year was the best car that actually stayed within the rules, but that is an old argument. the nose of last years was brilliant and i can't wait to see what they come up with this year.

yeah Jabberwocky youre right there, saying its evolutionary means its a mere evolution of the RB5. while Revolutionary means a totally new design with new ideas.

Mclaren have said somthing simlar its all talk we'll find out on Feb 1st when they get tested.

I think Red Bull are going down the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" route.

I think the biggest improvements they'll make on last year's car will be mechanical wise.

I don't think we will know until we start seeing teams doing long runs in testing.
