The last time there was a team with a double-champion line-up was in 1989 consisting of Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost in McLaren-Honda (MP4/5), who are two of the greatest F1 drivers... they dominated the year before by winning all but one race.

In 1989 they got 10wins, 18podiums and 15 poles(out of 16), half of the teams (20/2=10) were British.

In 2010 it's going to be another double-champion line-up for the same team but instead of half of the field being made up of British teams, there will only be 3 teams but one truly British team...... and that team is McLaren

Yet at one stage it looked like there wasn't going to be a British Grand Prix...

I would personally love to see McLaren dominate in 2010 as it would stop the criticising of both Jenson Button (I don't like Button but he doesn't deserve as much criticism as he gets) and Lewis(he's a driver who pushes his car.. we need to see more of this!) but there are 3 other teams (at the moment) who look like they are up for a fight.

I don't agree with that McLaren is a very diverse global company. Also Williams are probably more of a British team.

I don't see how that would stop anything if Lewis beats button by any sort of decent margin. Not saying he will be beaten though I hope the two of them push each other hard as well as working nicely together.

Nope, I'm on about 2010 and Williams have Hulkenberg (German) and Barrichello(Brazilian)

I'm not on about the quarrels about which of them two are better we all know Hamilton is, I'm just bored of everyone slagging people off.

Button won it, wether it was his driving his car or Ross who won it for them... end he won!

Assuming Virgin will be porwered by Cosworth, then that is the only full British team. McLaren is powered by GERMAN Mercedes, Williams was Toyota (Sorry I forgot who they will have now, was it Renault or Cosworth?) Well if it is Cosworth then you can put Williams with Virgin GP as a full British team. If the Italian teams don't win, then hopefully it will be the full German team that does it and if not them, then the Austrian team followed by the Swiss team (Although I would prefer Sauber second to Ferrari because it will have Ferrari power) and then the Spanish team.
