The last time there was a team with a double-champion line-up was in 1989 consisting of Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost in McLaren-Honda (MP4/5), who are two of the greatest F1 drivers... they dominated the year before by winning all but one race.
In 1989 they got 10wins, 18podiums and 15 poles(out of 16), half of the teams (20/2=10) were British.
In 2010 it's going to be another double-champion line-up for the same team but instead of half of the field being made up of British teams, there will only be 3 teams but one truly British team...... and that team is McLaren
Yet at one stage it looked like there wasn't going to be a British Grand Prix...
I would personally love to see McLaren dominate in 2010 as it would stop the criticising of both Jenson Button (I don't like Button but he doesn't deserve as much criticism as he gets) and Lewis(he's a driver who pushes his car.. we need to see more of this!) but there are 3 other teams (at the moment) who look like they are up for a fight.
