German car giant Mercedes has bought the Brawn Formula 1 team in a move that is likely to see Jenson Button join McLaren as Lewis Hamilton's team-mate.

start of a new era for McLaren, the way i see it both McLaren and Mercedes wanted to become complete constructors so its an amicable split.

I like this, Mclaren are now a fully indipendent team we have 6 years nearly to source another engine and we'll have a fully functioning prodiction car program by then.
Big repsect to merc tho since they could of just got rid of us.
