Le coeur a ses raisons que la raison ne connaît point.
F1live:
Medical tests overseen by the FIA have shown that Felipe Massa's eyesight will not delay his return to Formula One.
Ferrari confirmed after a first series of tests at Paris' Pitie Salpetriere hospital that the 28-year-old, seriously injured in a Budapest qualifying crash last July, has "recovered the functions of his left eye by 100%".
The neurological and ophthalmological exams precede Massa's return to the wheel of a Formula One car, with a two-year-old F2007 with GP2-spec tyres, probably on Monday at the Fiorano test track, depending on the weather.
After "positive" outcomes from the first FIA tests, Massa is due to continue the medical exams on Saturday afternoon.
