Well obviously Brawn had an excellent car in the beginning of the year which ended up with Jenson clinching 68 points in the early part of the season. The reason behind their success was a long-time commitment to this year's car. Now when other bigger teams like Ferrari/McLaren and also Red Bull have built a good car, they're not as strong. What can we expect from next year? They have to fight for the title, which puts their development of next year's car under a question mark. Will they be medicore, or is Ross Brawn going to suprise us again?

I'm not so smart about F1, but my humble opinion says that Ferrari and McLaren will be stronger and red bull to be a runner up. Mainly because of the size of their budget. Ferrari and McLaren have been developing next year's car for a long time, which gives them a big advantage? Or have I missed something and Brawn also has started to develop next year's car?

I believe it might be hard for BrawnGP to keep the same advantage they had in the beginning of 2009. I, too, think that next year will be Ferrari/ Mclaren with Red Bull trailing behind. Or it could be Red Bull/ Ferrari or Red Bull/ Mclaren...who knows...

But I think Vettel might have some big plans for 2010...

I'm hoping McLaren make another dud for next year because they won't be able to spend their way out of trouble like they have done this year.

I don't think the budget has anything to do with it anymore, I presume, Brawn like any other team will have started developing their new car (unless they plan to quit), I also beleive it will be back to Ferrari vs McLaren, and maybe Red Bull in there.

Well, all I can say is just wait until you see the FW32, with two REAL drivers at the wheel - not a driver who bottles it or a driver who blames the car when it's good enough for pole.

What? you attacking their driver lineup now not their car? but don't worry McLaren will have 2 world champs in the same team next year, cant ask for anything more than that! :)

i think brawn will struggle to be as strong at the start of next season, you forget they had a huge advantage from finding a loophole in the new regulations brought in for 09.

No I'm talking about Rosberg and Nakajima.

Imo, Williams have lost their greatest asset in Rosberg if he goes to Brawn but Hulkenberg might be something special... Williams and Brawn will make an interesting comparison next season i think. It'll all depend on what goes on with Mercedes at Brawn.
I think Barrichello and Hulkenberg looks like a really constructive partnership on paper if Hulkenberg can translate his natural pace to F1 performance. Rubens should be able to contribute to his development by giving good setup advice etc.
At Brawn, I don't see Button being much help to Rosberg in the setup department so i think Rosberg will have to firmly establish himself as the leader of the team. If he is not able to do this, I don't think that partnership will be anything special, they'll just take points off each other.

They will definitely struggle.
Honda's zillion dollar 3 wind tunnel program made the Brawn what it is, and luck had McLaren and Ferrari floundering. Luck also had it that the rest of the points(like 2nd and 3rd, and wins that Jenson didn't get) are spread out among several drivers/teams. Without manufacturer money, though, they can't keep up with improving big guys.
But there are 2 possibilities that may be cause for hope for Brawn: Big dollars coming from FIA(as well as the ability to charge more for advertising) for being the champs, and the possibility of Brawn becoming the Mercedes works team.

Lets not forget folks if Brawn had not developed their car they would have been well passed out by this stage, they have had to work hard to stay ahead this year so don't rule them out so quickly for 2010.

They should do okay, they've got a good base to go on.

Red Bull will dominate though i reckon, this season's car was forced into a fundamental compromise when the double diffuser was made legal (due to the pullrod suspension at the back) - so they have a lot more to come and the best designer!
