Yesterday morning I dislocated and fractured my baby finger on my right hand and spent the morning in casualty getting it x-rayed and put back in place. :irked:
Now its sore and Im feeling sorry for myself. Got to go back to the fracture clinic tomorrow.

The gym is a dangerous place, Your right that`s why i prefer too keep clear of the place, less chance of getting hurt laying on my sofa :hehe:

How did you dislocate your finger racechick? Makes me cringe just thinking about bones breaking, maybe I shouldn't ask for details...

How? Sounds painful. How long will it take to heal?

I wonder what would happen if you went to a health and safety officer and said "everytime I go into this room I get hot and sweaty. have problems breathing and I lift something over 25kg's"

He would shut it down!

What lifts/moves where you doing when it fractured? Maybe it'll be some cool stories to tell at the bar...

Hope it heals well!

I like being active. it happenned in my circuits class that i go to before work. The station I was on was throwing the medicine ball to your partner, squatting then throwing it back. We'd picked the heaviest medicine ball(we both like to push it a bit) but its hard to throw it accurately and it caught me wrong  It killed and i nearly fainted. Was scared about having it put back in place but that wasnt so bad.

How? Sounds painful. How long will it take to heal?

Its sore if i forget and try to bend it but oherwise not too bad. Its black and twice the size it should be  . Should find out more at the fracture clinic tomorow.

I had a visit from them recently, my boss had to fork out £500 for a helmet for me and that's just the start of it. And if we were restricted to 25kg we'd never be able to do anything.

Hope your hand's on the mend.
