Following Renault’s admission that Nelson Piquet Jnr crashed during the Singapore Grand Prix last year to help Fernando Alonso win, you have to wonder whether anything similar has happened before.

In the 2006 title-decider at Interlagos, Michael Schumacher’s slim title chances were ruined when he made contact with Alonso’s then team-mate Giancarlo Fisichella.

Did Flavio Briatore and Pat Symonds have another one of their chats, this time with Fisichella, before that race and tell him to use any opportunity to hinder Schumacher?

to be fair, that guy seems to have gone into conspiracy overdrive and is writing some pretty sensationalist rubbish at the moment. I go on there a lot and I'm kinda surprised to see the dip in quality of his latest articles. I'm staying off there for a bit until he can calm down and re-gain his normally quite commendable sense of balance.

This opens up a whole new can of worms, did Flavio Briatore instruct a young Micheal Schumacher to drive into Damon Hill after hitting the wall effectively ending his race to decide the 1994 title in Adelaide. Plus I am sure there are dozens of incidents where that years world champion had some help from their team mate!

Agreed. No doubt people are going to start scrutinising every crash involving a Renault now.

Yeah, and every engine blow-out too dating right back to when the "yellow teapot" made its debut at Silverstone 1977.

So Schu makes a slight mistake Fisi tries to take advantage and they touch ,hardly unfair was it.My guess is this guy is a Schu/ferrari fan with his blinkers on.

No, he really isn't. He's more like a Sky News watching, Times reading closet Neo-Liberal patriot of the sort that deep down truly believes that Damon Hill was a better driver than Michael Schumacher. He's normally very good as I say but he seems to have gotten a bit carried away with the old Renault/Piquet Race-fixing/Blackmail saga.

I don't know who this guy is but you're probably both jumping the gun. McLaren, stop letting your jealous streak play the Ferrari card whenever possible :nono: and gilles, you know full well that nobody thinks Damon Hill is a better driver than Schumacher, no matter how much :hammer: they've been subjected to!

Actually I was just thinking that the other day. I actually respect alot of F1Fanatic's work and I think the guy is a top bloke, but I wonder how much of these articles are a "cash-in"?

Sensationalist writing, I could easily do the same for this or that, but is there really any point when you have no proper proof ?

Haha, unbelievable, but nonetheless if anyone ever had done or will use foul play against Schumacher, it's merely 'karma' coming full circle on him. :-|
