Thank you people for helping me see the light. The way to make races like Valencia better isn't to make them massively long, but to make them ridiculously short. 5 lap races where cars are forced to go for overly ambitious overtaking manoeuvers from the first corner. 10 minutes of mayhem, crashes and debris, with a lucky handfew living to take home the points.

Have I got something here?

So a sprint race and a feature race?! Sounds familiar :D

Instead of having a few laps around places such as Valencia, just take it off the calendar once and for all.

How about a secret computer-generated number that will indicate after which lap the race ends. Anywhere between 20 and 50. With refueling banned next season, it shouldn't be much of an issue re. race strategy. That'll keep the drivers on their toes and they'd try to overtake more often :whip:

Glad you're with me on this one - it does involve a cruel component, doesn't it? That's the way I like it, uhuh uhuh uhuh :whip::whip::whip::twisted:
