Public Day is for amateur drivers who wish to enjoy the world's finest racetrack at an affordable cost and in the safest conditions.

What a cool idea, I wonder if other F1 circuits allow this.

Edit:

Here's a video of some people having fun, Eau Rouge footage is in the latter portion.

I would love to take a spin around Spa and it's very reasonable as well, 160 Euros for 30 minutes is well worth it.

Just a shame that I can't drive across the Atlantic Ocean to get there!!! :(

what is the difference between this and a normal track day?

Don't believe there's any difference...

Public track-day would be a better description for this thread though.

Or what is the difference between Spa and the other track's? I dont think Spa can be described in the same context as any other current F1 track other than Monza. IMO the best track to attend for an 'open to the public' event is the Nürburgring. Either way it would be an honor for me personaly to just walk upon their hallowed ground's.

In closing I say attend a Spa event and then share the experience with us :) .

so it is just a track day then. ah ok. yes I understand that it is spa. I have been around Croft, Pembrey, Snetterton, anglesea, so I suppose I might try and add Spa to the list.

The Ring would be cool, but I have a problem with liking my life.

Either track can be life threatening if you exceed your and your car's limit's, just have fun and imagine the pic's, video's and story's you will have to pass on!

I hope you go and look forward to your report  !!

Just go slow. Last time I went, there were a couple of guys on antique motorbikes. They did the entire 'Ring really slowly - like no more than 30mph all the way around
