Has Max finally "gone 'round the bend" or is he simply the misunderstood martyr?

Mosley had the chance to be remembered as 'Saint' mosley but duck it up by staying on to long and pretty much becoming what he fought against in the 80's and replaced in the 90's

One sobering thought pointed out in Mark Hughes article in autosport is as follows

The teams haven’t answeerd Max's recent outburst because they have the deal they want and the deal gets shot of him , so they are fine about it and he can shout his mouth off all he likes. BUT Hughes ended his article with this thought...
“ But there’s one naggi ng thought. Let’s just say Max does stand again-and the teams refuse to sign, and the matter goes to court. Why did they agree to the same terms before, the only difference being who is president? Surly that’s a vendetta? Surely that’s not legal? Probably fanciful. But, lke the man said, he’s not dead yet.”

Scary thought. Sounds unlikely but who would have bet that he’d survive the Nazzi whipping scandal??

Mosley could always end up whipping (now should I really be using that word in this context? :P) up a few 'favours' from the countries who saved his bacon last time that know feck all about Motor Racing once again.

Max is most dangerous when he has been forced into a corner; FOTA may well have f*cked up their own victory by releasing the statement that Mosley is so opposed to!

We may still end up with Williams, Force India, Manor, USF1 and Campos next season with the FOTA teams left out in the cold if Max stands for re-election!

Max has gone so far around the bend that "bend" doesn't describe it properly. Try "corkscrew".

F1 can't leave that many teams "out in the cold", or F1 will be in a colder place itself.

If they are being left out in the cold, it wouldn't surprise me if it's because Flavio is being used as "the doorman".
