It was just Allens obsession with Hammy for me.

the new bloke Leggard called Button Schumacheresque in turkey.... wheres the uproar???

Well you can't deny he is right in a way. 2009 is very reminiscent of 2004.
Besides, it wasn't the Senna comparisons that ever really annoyed me. It was the fact they talked about no one else and became incredibly biased.

A lot of people seem to ignore him, or let things slide because unlike Allen, he rarely repeats them.

Jenson is Schumacher-like only in terms of work ethic (Michael and Jenson are hardly the only drivers to adopt such a work ethic either) and how he works with Brawn. The driving is completely different. Jenson's The Chauffeur.

He's getting lucky like the dustbin man chav who won the lottery! next season it will be different!

Schumacher was consistent because his car was, next season it will be a different story because the funds won't be there!

We'll see. It's very likely some of the mid-field teams will be at the front because they're possibly going to start focusing on optimising the slightly-revised 2010 cars sooner.

I grimaced. These comparisons are so silly.

An interesting note on Alonso's driving style is that over the years I've noticed him take lots of kerb and sometimes even a bit of astroturf or grass.
