"cough, cough"

Hmmm....Thus season i find is getting very, very boring. I actually hope for engines blows etc. half way through? I find myself reaching for the 2008 review to be honest, sexy cars? Quicker and more easy on the eyes? i am kind of hoping for the war to break out so FOTA can create a form of racing that is just as good! with more technical facilities with no budgets, if teams want to waste millions of millions of dollars for our expense who cares? the companies/sponsors will make it all back in endorsements etc. also with the obvious exposure on F1 car? I just find Jenson winning all the time is boring, if this was Schumacher you would all have jumped ship? i guess that is what the Germans and co. are doing now!

Your opinions please?

The OWT hasn't done enough IMO. They should cut back on the aero even more, so that there's only one adjustable wing plate on the front and rear wings, cut the diffuser down to a single deck or add ground effects, widen the rear tyres, widen the car back to 1997 spec, make the cars have bulkier bodywork so they punch a nice big hole in the air, a nice big 3.5 Litre V8, V10 or V12 or a 1.5 Litre Twin Turbo would be even better.

I'll just say this - the first 3 races were good (weather helped), the last 4 weren't mainly cause of the circuits imo... next up we have Silverstone and the Nurburgring; Silverstone can produce a good race sometimes, and the Nurburgring is more often than not a good one!

I think this season has been fantastic. Maybe that is just me though.

The first three races were great, but now it's tailed off all of a sudden, but likewise some of the circuits can be blamed (boring-Bahrain, Catalunya-wn, Monaco is never easy to overtake anyway etc). I also think now more teams are making the double-decker diffusers, they are preventing overtaking, whereas in the first three races only Brawn, Toyota and Williams had them.

If you take out the overtaking side of things, this season has been strong. It is a shame that Button is so dominant, but its like Schumacher. You really can't fault him. He is on fire and deserves to win the title, as things stand.

I agree with your proposals 7up, bar the ground effects, I think that would increase cornering speeds too much. That is just my opinion though.

Well, by Monaco, we had already reached more than half of the number of overtaking moves in total in 2008. So I'd say they're working to an extent.

it started off with promise but has gone to sh1t TBH, qualification is probably better than the actual race

Im not a noob and while i think this season has been interesting for various reasons i haven't found it particularly exciting. Few overtaking moves in anger, results becoming predictable, No 2 or 3 cars of similar ability slugging it out at the front. Interesting but not exciting.

Yes its boring this season but so was 2004. I guess it happens every once in a while you can't have an exciting season every year.
