Question for the British guys here, when the engine notes rise almost instantly on the straights, I always had assumed that was the Kers system being activated, but there was a bit on the telly today were they said it was to do with swapping cameras or something :confused:

The only reason I can think not having seen the coverage in the USA yet is rev blips as the drivers down-shift under braking but I don't believe that's what you're referring to!

no its flat out on the straight and its just the camera's swiching.

Thanks guys. I really thought it was the Kers. They have said what the Kers sounds like, but what I thought was the Kers turns out I was actually hearing that sound glitch/thing.

No, Australia etc get the BBC commentary feed, but their broadcasters will pay the BBC for it.

its not the cameras switching, it happens with continuous feed.
The think its because the sound cant cope with pitch of the engine, that's what they said before.
I can't remember who but a driver said he doesnt hear it in car, but did in replay.
