- 07 Jun 09, 16:28#124243This Legard character is totally unsuitable for TV commentating. Radio maybe, I do not need to told when a car stops moving! Nor do I need to be asked questions, nor do I want apologies for misinformation. I want hard facts as to what is happening in the race I am watching, not some unrelated happening which may, or may not have happened at Interlagos some time previously. Did he go there once? He mentioned the place on Saturday during the Turkey practice and again twice today.
My solution has been to use the Radio5 commentary at the cost of not hearing Martin Brundle, sorry Martin.
Please Mr. BBC, move Legard to Radio and move Anthony over to BBC1 to replace him - that would make a perfect pair. Whilst on this subject it was great to have the Pit Lane double act of Martin and Dave Coultard. Great to see them both and their rapour with the drivers.
Does Eddie Jordan really have to be so patranizing and know it all? His sarcastic remarks are really not needed, nor do they contribute to the show. I would say he is the third that makes a crowd and not necessary at all. His post race remarks to Ross Brawn today were verging on stupidity.
