Max's dad, Oswald, would be proud of how he's figured out a way of getting rid of all the Italians, French and Japanese that he probably sees as the scourge of his personal sport.

I, for one, look forward to being able to watch the pinnacle of motor racing without funding the lifestyle of the UKs premier family of fascism (Hitler and Goebbels attended his parents' wedding), whether that be due to FOTA leaving the FIA, or by the FIA getting rid of this unsavoury character.

Unfortunately, as stated in the FIA charter, the World Council of the FIA is appointed by the President, so the chances of him being voted out are seriously slim.

There is, as of 2005, an amendment to the FIA charter stating that the President may only serve 2 terms. This obviously doesn't count retrospectively, so Mosely will probably be around until 2013, giving him a total of 20 years in the post. He has succeeded where his daddy failed in forming a career as a totalitarian dictator.

I'm much more interested in watching the big teams and best drivers than I am in following a sport just because it's called Formula 1, so I sincerely hope the BBC and world media follow Ferrari, McLaren, Alonso and Hamilton wherever they go.

that is the key! the teams are the sport, not the name F1. the changes that Max wants to bring in makes F1 become a b grade feeder series. as seen by the amount of joe blow entrants. that is not F1, that is not the pinnacle of motorsport where GP2 teams can enter!

Mosley should really no better.

There is so much of this crisis which is mirrored with the early 1980s. At that point he was on the side of the constructors and against the FISA, the very fact that he and Ecclestone are no longer the poachers and are now the game keepers was testament to the FOCA eventually cooperating.

Wait a minute... Domenicali says that if FIA agrees to the conditios of FOTA, then all other registrations become invalid?? So we either have a A-grid without Williams and now also Force India (so 8 teams) or we have a B-grid with 9 or 10 teams with Williams as champion 2010...

Lets start a petition to boycot the English GP!

Apparently the so-called illegal Conditional Entry was Mosley's idea.

This means that if the FOTA teams do get rejected, Mosley specifically advised them to take a course of action which lead to them not getting places.

Oh, Mr Mosley. Didn't your teacher ever tell you not to play with fire?

Why would Max Mosley advise the FOTA teams to submit conditional entries? If he wanted them out; he would have let them not sign up by the 29th and they would be out anyway, especially with the other 8 or 9 teams that submitted entries under his €45m budget cap!

I agree with Mosley; the FIA have governed the sport and set the rules for 60 years; why should things change now that suddenly there is a few manufacturers running teams.
