The on-track action (overtaking etc.) has been the best it's been in a while, but the lack of a serious battle for the title is becoming very tiresome.

Whisper it: it entered my consciousness yesterday that I would not have minded Raikkonen winning yesterday, just to stop the monotony. :yikes:

Yeah, Jenson's lead is 28 points from Vettel. But don't forget. If Vettel wins both Turkey and Silverstone, thats 20 points. If Jenson doesn't score at one of those two races, Vettel could make huge gains. But can anyone remember a time win some made such a comeback?

Button is looking as dominate as Schuy was in 2004. But lets see.

i really hope another team can attempt to stop brawn from running too far ahead...
i dont mind them taking the 2009 championship, but let just give somebody else a hope for a title (in WDC at least)...might spice up the on-track action too

Vettel should be able to challenge this, but i can see cracks showing...

Ferrari might be too far back to have any hope?

Most seasons that I remember have had a dominant team, whether it be Ferrari/McLaren/Williams etc. Sometimes the dominance is due to the cars, and sometimes the drivers (although the car helps lol)

For me it is not boring, this season is a fairlytale season for a team that was as good as out of F1.

If Button wins, it will be way better than Hamiltons title.

Correct, but Braun hasn't had the advantage of a whole out of season test schedule or the vast McLaren/Ferrari budgets.

They had a Honda budget. Granted not the testing time.

Well, Schumacher came back from 20something points down to give Alonso a run for his money in 2006... there's loads of examples of that (1996 is another), but not of a driver coming back to actually win.

Yeah, I mean Kimi was far behind in 2005. Around 30 points behind in the early races. But kept the fight going. But again didn't win in the end.

But think back to anytime a driver had this many wins early on. Your talking about the years the Schuy won, and the year Nigel dominated etc. Bar 1994, although Schuy had been disqualified for 4 races that year. It's hard to see any driver taking the fight back to Brawn right now. But we can hope. Maybe Ross will fall ill for a weeks and the team will fall apart, :hehe: You just never know.

Why? he has no competition at all even his team mate isn't really up to his level it seams.

so if anything it will be the exact opposite.

2008 Lewis was in the 2nd best car, had the FIA all over him had two Ferrari drivers to fend for at least half the season as well as Kubica.

so far button has received no penalties (not that he as deserved any) and the 2nd best team Red bull only challenged in the wet.

As DC said its 20% Driver 80% car in Formula 1.

While all that is true, Button hasn't put a foot wrong yet so you can't say that it's ALL the car! Hamilton drove better in '07 than in '08... well, more consistently anyway.
