According to Frank Williams, Hulkenburg's promotion depends on where Nico goes next year. So that implies that Hulkenburg won't be taking the seat of Nakajima and that Nakajima is safe for 2010.

I find that all a bit strange. Williams were criticizing Nico earlier after Barcelona. I don't get whats going on here, one look at Williams and you'd think Nakajima was under pressure, but in fact it's Rosberg who has come under some scruteneering lately. Is there something we're all missing here.

I think Frank is wise enough to have a replacement already lined up for Crashajima in 2010. If he chooses the Cosworth he doesn't even need to lift a finger to send Nakajima back to Toyota.

For me, Rosberg still isn't performing to his potential regularly enough, yet he is bitching about being deserving of a winning car. Let him go if he wants. Don't know where he'd go for that car though - Brawn, RB, Toyota and Ferrari are all full and don't look like changing their lineups. He'd probably have to go to McLaren and just hope that they improve, but that's not a given...!

Nakajima will only go if the Toyota engines go... or if that bloke (forget his name, but he's Japanese too) who is currently 3rd driver for Toyota replaces him.

Nico's under pressure because he actually gets payed by Williams. Williams are the ones letting Nico down, not the other way round

Whilst Williams have made some tactical blunders (thanks to Rod Nelson), Nico has had his fair share of laughable excuses. For instance, the "visor problems" he had in China. If he's had problems with his visor before why hasn't he done anything about it?

I don't blame Williams for tactical blunders or Nico for performing badly in specific races. i think both of them are doing a decent job but i see Nico as a potential world champion if he gets a fast enough car and Williams have never produced the goods. It's not their fault, they have no money but its a shame that Nico's loyalty to the team over the last couple of seasons has held him back. He'll waste his career if he doesn't move

Nakajima has been terrible! comparable to Piquet. I'd be surprised if either last the whole season. But Naka seems to have some big daddy backing his position at Williams.

If Williams need a kamikaze japaneese driver, why go for the copycat?
they could just rescue Sato!

Well to put to rest my theories mentioned above...

Nakajima openly admitted that toyota did indeed help him get a race seat with Williams. But thats as far as it went. Toyota are not currently helping him retain that seat in any way shape or form.

Maybe he could get a seat with "David Dickinson Racing" then. :hehe:

And to stop him crashing he should carry a "valuable" antique on the front of the car which would probably be declared illegal anyway as an "aerodynamic aid". :hehe:
