Alexander Mosley, 39, was discovered in his £200,000 home in Notting Hill, West London, according to The Sun.

Scotland Yard said: "We were called at 16.20pm on Tuesday to reports of a male found dead at a property. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

"We believe we know the identity of the deceased. The coroner's office has been informed."

Max Mosley is president of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the non-profit association that represents the interests of motoring organisations and car users worldwide.

The FIA is also the governing body for Formula One and other international motorsports.

Alexander Mosley is reportedly a respected economist and a doctor.

F1 boss Max Mosley's son has been found dead
The son of F1 boss Max Mosley has been found dead after a suspected drugs overdose.

Alexander Mosley, 39, was discovered at his home in Notting Hill, West London.
Dr Mosley, a respected economist, was found slumped in a room by a relative.

A police spokesman said: 'We were called at 16.20 yesterday to reports of a male found dead at a property in W11.

'He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man is in his late 30s.
'We believe we know the identity of the deceased. The Coroner's office has been informed.'
Police confirmed that the man's death was not being treated as suspicious and that next of kin were being informed.
Alexander Mosley was last seen alive on Friday.

The drugs he might of used could be completely legal such as prescription drugs to early to know if he OD on illegal narcotics. Very sad day for the Mosley family.

I tried to kill my self does that make me scum, we dont even know what he killed himself with yet an overdose could be anything from paracetamol to Heroin.
