Nah, not Kimi's Magnum ice cream.
I had the opportunity to drive a Magnum for the past 2 days. It has the 5.7-liter V8 hemi under the hood, good for 340 hp. Nice oomph and smooth ride, though the styling (a cross between muscle car and station wagon  ) is debatable. The crimson red makes up for some...

I dig the retro styling myself and the HP increase cannot be denied yet there is something missing, maybe it is because I grewup with the originals?

340hp from a 5.7 V8 :irked: what does it use the last 4 cyl for? I hope it produces a lot of torque

Yeah the old Magnum was nothing to write home about. The fact that no one remembers it is testimony to that. It was twin to the Cordoba. Nuff said.

There was a line of engines that got the Magnum tag though. Supposed to be the performance stuff, because for some reason the Hemi tag was not being used.

There's a souped up version of the V8 that produces 425hp. And yes, it has a nice torque - gets to 60mph in 5.1 seconds (not a small feat for such a heavy car).
