Did anybody read the article in the F1 magazine with Nelson Piquet JNR this month.

Made for a good read.

He was basically saying he doesnt give a s**t what anybody thinks of him and also went into a bit about his relationship with the team, and how Alonso gets all the attanetion so its no wonder hes always at the back of the grid.

I hear about this earlier today, but haven't been able to find the article. It was f1racing.co.uk I believe.

Doesn't surprise me to see Piquet opening his gob, like father like son.

I don't suppose he called Alonso an "uneducated blockhead" did he?

Piquet knew what he was getting into when he signed for Renault. He has no argument. His performances have been below par - bad car or not, rule one is to finish. He's hardly done that over his career.

Piquet is terrible he's just riding on his pops coatails the sooner hes binned the better, ewman did you catch the new dwarf tonight it was utter tosh

There is a number one driver in every team, you cant have two equally matched drivers because while it makes for good racing (Alonso/Hamilton & Senna/Prost) it just doesnt work very well and the two drivers will clash causing the team to implode.

Piquet just needs to accept he sucks and he cant match Alonso.

But at the same time Renault require a driver who will do a solid job and contest further up the grid than Piquet is currently doing.

Well, i haven't really had the need to do it to a team mate yet. But if i do need to, i have a good teacher.
