I quite like the idea of relegation because it might bring new teams to the fold, although I will be sorry to see some of the teams go.

What do you guys think of Mosley's latest idea?

it could be damaging unless there is a way back, imagine spending x number of millions, being relegated, where would u be then?

I must have missed that news piece (busy and all). Can somebody post a link?
Anyway, I made a similar suggestion once it became clear that the number of participating teams would be capped at 12. I would even go as far as allowing a few teams with only one car to keep them in the fold, have them gain experience at a lower cost and if they excel, they could earn the right for a second car. I'm all for diversity and small team enterprises - you never know if there's an engineering diamond in the rough out there who's not been given a chance because of stupid rigidity and regulations.

Thanks SF. I agree with MM whole-heartedly. He even mentioned 'my' idea of one-car teams!
