What do you guys think of this:

Top six racers from F1 Indy Car and Nascar battle it out in a one off event for charity, or something like that.
There are three 'events' all are in the format of what series it is from.
So there is one F1 race, an Indy car race and a NASCAR race. That should sort out the question of who has the best driver in their series. I think anyway.

To attract bernie to the idea.

Think of all the advertising and television money that could be made and all the sponsors.
It might also stir up interest in F1 in America and Vise Versa.

One question I got stuck on was where would the race be held? Indy, Watkins Glenn or Monaco .

It would need to be some where that all the driver know or somewhere that they have never been before.

What are your thoughts on this?

It does seem a good idea but I think it would be better to have them in a standardised car and do race and have one winner of the race.

The car should be the crappy Chevrolet from Top Gear haha

the f1 drivers would take the piss, out of the other drivers.

and the f1 drivers contracts proberly wouldn't allow it.

what cars would they drive?

How about a race between current F1 drivers and former drivers from the 80's and 90's? How would Lewis, Massa, Vettel and co get on against the likes of Prost, Mansell, Hill, Alesi etc.?

No. I mean there are three races.

I dont really see how nascar or nascar drivers come into it. Open wheel racing is a different kettle of fish to stock cars/nascars/touring cars. the f1 drivers would win the f1, and the nascar win theirs.

i guess the A1 series is a test more of driver ability because of the control chassis and engine and so on, but even that is greatly dictated by the team around them.
