Kimi's damn right. The guy is down to earth. I mean, wouldn't you rather go drinking with your mates, rather than signing autographs at sponsorship gigs.
About a week ago I saw a big intense picture of hamiliton outside a watch store. Truly, hes become a pure marketing figure. All the sponsors are taking full advantage of their contracts right now. I don't know if Hamiliton has a choice in the matter, but I know what I'd being doing if I had a choice.
I'm not directly disagreeing with you, but sponsors, fans, media etc. basically pay the drivers' enormous wages and allow Formula One to function. Therefore, I think it's only right that Formula One drivers and teams do sponsorship functions etc. One of my biggest grips about modern sport - and Formula One is one of the worst offenders - is that the fans are almost completely ignored.
