Says here Nick Fry reckons the team could get a pile of cash from Peter Mandelson's dept,

Hmm.

Read more closely & you'll see an admission from Fry that he's been several meetings with Mandelson's people. However this is the dept responsible for delving into management buyouts & deciding how dodgy they are as well as dishing out Govt cash to the motor trade.

Thus it's possible that Fry is saying to Mandelson's mob, either you ok my buyout or I get people to ask for Govt cash.

Sadly for Mr Fry Peter Mandelson will rip his head off & dump in his lungs, just for practice, before he's even brushed his teeth in the morning.

Advice then to Nick Fry, don't pick fights you have no hope in hell of winning.

I would rather see Fry's buyout go ahead. If, however, it did not, I wouldn't mind too much to see Honda getting a loan if it saved 700 peoples' jobs.

If they do then Williams will be the next in the queue with it's hand out followed quickly by everybody else apart from Toyota, Ferrari & Torro Rosso whose teams aren't based in Mandleson's juristiction.

However i don't belive they will get the money since its a sporting organization

They are also a business.

Semantics and pedantics. I suspect what Longbow really means is the nature of Honda F1's business.

Please don't say there will be a car on the grid with "SPEED AWARE" on the side :-(

I could picture Nick Fry really loving that idea.

I think for sponsorship they should plaster Nick Fry's face all over the car. With those cheesey sunglass Jenson and Him always wore.

Government's should not be loaning any money to any business. If they let Woolworths (which employed more people) go down then Honda has got no business asking them for money

Yeh but there a sporting organization ONLY the business is to go out and race.

Wheras Mclaren have several other compaines such as Mclaren Electronics Systems and Mclaren Automotive that sell consumer products, so they could apply for the grant for that side of the business.

Word is the deal will only go down if Prince Harry occupies one of the cockpits.

Yeh and at silverstone no one is aloud to overtake him.
