It must be a day for me asking questions (not that my doll's got a puncture what else can I do). But why isnt Porsche in Formula One? More to the point, where they ever in the sport. I'm sure they were, but can't remember when. I guess they're more Le Mans racers than Formula 1.

There was a rumour going around a good few years that Porsche would by Sauber when they were suppling engines to the Swiss team. What a load of crap.

It would be great to see Porsche in F1 again, and the same goes for Maserati (although they're now part of Ferrari).

Does anyone know if any car manufacturers tried to enter F1 when Pro-Drive won the right to run in 2008? I would love to see that list of wannabe entrants.

i was under the impression pro drive were going to purchase chassis and engine package from a current team
