Its true, during 2009 Massa wants to be seen as much more of a mature driver and one of the sports leading drivers, rather than the youngster who spins off all the time and is number 2 to Kimi. Just look.

Hes grown a goate :D

Man-ly indeed, but effective ???

On a more serious note though.

The FIA has listed Massa as driver number 4, and Kimi as 3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the driver who finished higher up, is suspose to recieve the lower number. Seriously, will poor ol Felipe ever get a break.

It seems the drivers taken seriously tend to bitch alot. Look at Alonso and Robert last year. When they complained about their teams not working hard enough to support them, the teams seemed to wake up and work harder for them. That could back fire, but seem to work for those two. Maybe not bitching as much as cracking the whip :whip: . He needs to start cracking the whip or say, I'll go somewhere else and be champion instead of #2... Those are the sign of driver/leaders..

And where are those two?
Fernando - Brought Renault back on par in the late stages of the season
Robert - Higher # status in the team. FIA didn't mistake that one..

^^^One race
You didn't see him spinning at Monaco, Monza, Spa, or Interlagos. In fact, Massa could've won monaco. Most people forget that Massa repassed Kubica on merit, but ferrari called him too early for dries, and Kubica re-took Massa. Plus, we all know Lewis didn't really win monaco :hehe:

Anyways, Mansell moustache :D It may take some time, but geez, that'd be funny.

I saw Massa spin at monaco.

Lewis won Monaco by being the fastest he built a 30++ sec gap up after his slight collision with the wall and then pit stop.

I suggest you get your facts straight before you make yourself look stupid.

Agreed.

Massa is no Senna, but he's become a very solid driver in 2008. In a good car, I'd certainly take him seriously.

What, like the numbers really matter?:rofl: Massa had the 'better' number in 2007 and it didn't do him any favours...

Maybe Massa would have had better luck if he had painted his number red... ;)

Very true as his drive was truelly a great one.

How about not disrespecting other member's by calling them stupid and just saying perhaps misinformed? :wavey:

its a bit unfair that Massa is still seen as a rookie but after last season I think everyone will start to respect him as a solid driver. Kinda like Michael Schumacher, nothing truly special but can get the job done.
