Le coeur a ses raisons que la raison ne connaît point.
F1live:
London's Madame Tussauds wax museum is to immortalise the new Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton.
The 23-year-old Briton, who has become the youngest ever drivers' title winner in the sport's 58 year history, this week underwent 300 measurements in view of joining the attraction's 'Sports Zone' in 2009.
Photos of the McLaren driver, wearing his McLaren racing suit, were also taken, and details including the comparison of the colour of his eyes with artificial eyeballs undertaken.
“Like the rest of Britain we were all delighted about Lewis’s F1 championship win,” stated Madame Tussauds PR Manager Liz Edwards.
“Although he has only raced in F1 for two seasons his name has been on our radar for some time and we’d already made our decision to include him before his Championship winning performance because of huge demand from our guests.”
It is said Hamilton's wax likeness will cost nearly $230,000.
Sure hope his head won't wax even more
