This is a wonderfull sight. Indianapolis 2002.

We did this because we can and we are simply the best and are great. Nice way to mock everyone else isn't? :hehe:

And the proof that Ferrari have been and are the Force to be reckoned with for the last 10 years.

Yep it says 8 constructors championships in 10 years. A record parrelled by no one. 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007 and 2008. :hehe:

if you wanna talk Renault well from 92-97 we were quite dominant power plant wise.

Teamwise buddy is all I am talking about. And back then as an engine supplier Renault you won 5 in 6 years. 1992, 1993, 1995, 1996 and 1997. All except 1995 were with Williams. 1995 was with Benetton and the GREAT MICHAEL SCHMACHER.

By the way who were you talking about anyway?

Im still proud about our engine supply in the 90s especially coupled with the genius of the British teams - but yes Ferrari's operation has been generally bullet proof this past decade. It is all swings and roundabouts though. I think they will dip sometime - that's not me being nasty, it happens to all the major teams.

And I wasn't talking F1 just your thread title got me thinking of another great achievement of the 90s. :cloud9:

That is what I am scared of. Ferrari dipping. I know we cant win all the time, fair enough there, but I don't want a repeat of 2 decades of very much nothing. That would kill me if you know what I mean......

Don't be throwing yourself off any bridges

As for your original post - What a crazy race that was, pretty boring and processional then that happened. I dunno that was at the height of Ferrari's dominance and to be honest they didn't do themselves any favours with that.
Was different like say Australia 1998 - Mclarens 1-2 crossing the line was pretty cool. I know Ferrari were trying to go Hollywood and create the photo finish, but was there ever any need?

Simply the best, better than all the rest - that's getting sung at the weekend.

15 Race Wins out of 16 Races
15 Poles
10 Fastest Laps

199 points almost outscoring the entire field
Leading for almost every Lap that year

The Best car in Formula 1 History and it was a Mclaren.
