On a day when most of the focus was on Formula One champion Juan Pablo Montoya's 11th-place finish in his NASCAR debut, Kevin Harvick kept it business as usual by racing to his eighth Busch Series win of the year Saturday in a caution-filled Sam's Town 250 at Memphis Motorsports Park in Millington, Tenn.

Montoya about the race, "It was pretty wild, to be honest. I learned today you have to pace yourself." (LA Times.com)

Montoya finished in 11th place.

(And i must point the mistake out the LA Times made about Montoya being F1 Champion, yeah right :) )

Montoya will make his NEXTEL CUP debut at Homestead, Florida tonight. The South American will start 29th in the Ford-400.

His reacton on qualifying:

"Yes, it's stressful -- you don't get any second chances," said Montoya. "One of the hardest things I'm getting the handle on is you go out on cold tires.

"It takes forever to get heat in the tires and then it's straight down to business [but] it's pretty cool."

Last race on the calendar, Matt Kenseth can clinch the cup tonight.

Is anyone else frustrated by Juan Hamburger Montoya? He's always had the talent in my opinion, but he's just too lazy at times.
