Personaly I currently think that Ferrari should hire me, I would have had no problem winning the championship for them.

KR has been stating for weeks that he will support FM, but after qualifing he states his plan is to pass Trulli as quickly as possible and go for a Ferrari 1-2.

WHY!!!!!!!!!!

He should have let Trulli go, and drop his pace by a second or so, and agressively block hamilton if he ever wanted to pass. LH could never take a risk at this stage, and we would get a nice KR train, with maybe a few of the mid-fielders having a stab at Hamilton.
After the first pitstops this would have put Alonso, maybe Vettel and Fisichella, way in front of KR and therefor LH. A few others aswell but not that mush in front of them.
If LH enters the pits, do the same 1 lap later and get in front of him again and repeat the process. If this fails and RK get behinds LH, then overtake him rather agressively again, RK definately had the pace for this.

This would have pushed LH down to maybe outside the points by the finish.

Instead KR went for his own glory AGAIN, and pushed as hard as he could to get passed Trulli and Fisi. Which meant Hamilton could do the same and make up a few more place. THAT'S NOT HELPING FM you twat.

Maybe not very sportive of me, but if you are going to help your teammate and the team itself, then do it properly, Clearing LH's way was just stupid.

Also I would like to state I could care less about the championship itself, I don't thing LH or FM are worthy champions this year. So many mistakes and FIA interference. A champion shouldn't have to be lucky the FIA rules in his favour or the rain didn't come 1 lap later, it should be clear who is the best to become a proper champion.
This was very exiting and entertaining season but it didn't yield a true champion. The reason for posting this is the shear stupidity I witnessed during the race.

What do you guys think? Am I a nutcase, or is there some marit to what I'm saying?

I can see where your coming from with the Raikkonen point.

But then you spoil it and prove you're a nutcase by saying neither Hamilton nor Massa deserved the championship this season

+1

Besides, why would Kimi (or anyone on the grid) want to stay behind Trulli? Trulli always does his best to hold up anyone that's behind him!

What exactly does it take to deserve a championship, I keep hearing this, and quite frankly think it's a load of crap.
Isn't that why they run the races and give out points is to see who deserves the championship? Last I checked it wasn't a popularity contest.
I'm voting for nutcase

Hamilton had more fuel on board at the start than the guys around him, he could have just stayed out longer and passed them all in the pits if Raikkonen just held everyone up. How stupid of Kimi not to let this happen...

I was thinking that.. why was he trying to overtake trulli? because hes another car infront of Hamilton. The commentators were claiming he was holding everyone up but he wasnt? he was miles infront of fisi at that point. I think he was just running hes own race. couldnt catch up with Alonso though

fine, so just pretend I find both drivers deserving candidates so that's the reason I don't care who wins it.

I'd like to steer you guys toward the role KR had.

Because that would mean LH would be behind trulli aswell, keeping LH down should have been KR only reason to race that day.
Ferrari had two goals, FM should win(massa's job), LM should be sixth or less(KR's job)
Who hives a rats bottom about KR third place now, absolutely pointless.

exactly, he was doing his own thing the entire time.
Fisi comes in later, a few cars came in early, and where much faster then the cars which stayed out. so when those came in(including KR and LH) they lost several positions, that's where Alonso came from, he started behind the McLarens, but came in early got in front of KR and stayed there because of his speed. However KR could/should have dropped his speed to let others who had the same strategy as FA to also get and stay ahead. (Fisi is one of those)

I'd have thought that they're realistic goals were make sure FM wins the race and make sure you don't risk the WCC. Lewis would have passed Kimi inthe pits so it made no difference.

I can understand your point, However KR has not always been able to stay in front of LH, why drop him into LH grasp, when throughout the season that has usually ended poorly for KR (stewards descisions not withstanding)

Massa whould have secured the WCC easily on his own, have you seen the difference in the standings.

How can you say Lewis would have passed kimi in the pits, as exactly that DIDN'T happen and even if by the grace of god lewis got passed kimi, Kimi was the faster man, so he could have passed him easily by being agressive, LH would have backed down because he could never run the risk of crashing.
