Compared to Schumi & Alonso, Lewis is the weakest champ of recent times.
Feel free to make your own comparisons between the 3.

A real champ would have driven for the win. Lewis didn't

Lewis is champion not by his own good driving, he was 6th and not champion till the championship was gifted to him. Not the way to become WDC.

A real champ like the previous to were fighters and would have won on the back of there own skill not somone else's lack of it. Lewis didn't.

I don't think you can compare him to Schumi.

Well, by your own logic, Alonso should not have been champ in '05 then. Kimi's engine went 3 times when he was comfortably in front. He'd have won 10 races that year but for that and Alonso about 4 or 5.

Alonso is, of course a worthy 2X champ. You know what Juan, do you mind if I call you Juan, I'm not sure you entirely grasp this concept of 'racing'.

I dont consider Lewis the 'weakest' champion. I think anyone who wins the Championship is a good driver, and it doesnt matter if they should've done this or that or they are little compared to someone other champions. Every champion has to start somewhere.

He didnt deserve the Championship? I recall that people didnt/dont think Schumi deserved his first title, so Schumi isnt all better.

And Hamilton not going for the win makes him a weak driver Champion? You are actually incorrect to say that Hamilton is the 'weakest' F1 champion, because according to your standards Keke Rosberg is the 'weakest' because I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) he won only one race in his championship season.

In my book, that doesnt make Keke or Hamilton a 'weak' champion. If you win an F1 WDC, I mean only 30 men in the history of mankind are F1 champs, that certainly doesnt make them weak, or not a 'real' champ. Every F1 champion is a legend in my book... well, except for Piquet senior because he was/is a douchebag. :hehe:

I recall Alonso driving conservatively in 06 in Brazil and heck even most of the second part of 05.
So your theory is pretty weak, but its expected from Alonso fans!

Its true though. I cant think of any other driver who's shown worse sportmanship than Piquet Sr.

I do think though that the "Lewis isn't a fighter" argument is particularly stupid. I mean, take it back a year to the 2007 Brazilian GP. First Lewis went for a brave move on Alonso that compromised his race, then after his gearbox problem he carved through the field from 18th place to finish 7th. And there's also his GP2 race in Turkey where he came from 16th to 2nd. These are not the performances of a shrinking violet who waits for others to make mistakes.

Yep, not the easiest guy to like. Just wonderfully described by yourself.

Do you think this is how Lewis would like to have won? No way. He is better than that.

For the record, I'm not an Alonso or Ferrari fan. Just to stop a few rabid fans making assumptions. And I'm not Spanish.

I personally wished he'd won in a more tenacious manner. Any true racing fan would.

Weakest win for Lewis? Yes.

Hottest girl in the pits? Also a yes for Lewis. His missus is dynamite.
