Having had the pleasure of meeting, albeit only very briefly for a couple of photos, DC in the paddock at SIlverstone a few years ago, I'd just like to say that he's a a top guy that has time for everyone whereas all the other drivers were so aloof they didn't have even a second for their "joe public" supporters.

Aye, I've never met himself but a coupld of people I know have and they said pretty much the same. Well done cubehead, now enjoy your free time and squillions in style! Barichello and DC leaving = end of an era.

I have also never met DC but he is one of the all-time great drivers and his achievements speak for themselves:

14 1/2 years in the top level of Motorsport
246 Grand Prix starts
13 Wins (5.28%)
62 Podiums (25.20%)
121 Points finishes (49.19%)
12 Pole Positions (4.86%)
37 Front Row starts (15.04%)
18 Fastest laps (7.32%)
535 Points (2.17 points per race)
Scored points in every year, scored podiums in all but three.
2nd in the Drivers' Championship in 2001, 3rd in 1995, 1997, 1998 & 2000

And if you're driving at the same time as Schumacher and Hakkinen were at their peak, that's no mean feat.

DC has had a brilliant career and no-one can really say he hasn't I think he may be 1 of the best drivers not to win the world championship.
