Rightfully as David Coulthard is retiring, he should get lots of the TV coverage, and a sepcial after the season has ended about him. But with ITV its all gonna be about Hammy and the way he can win the title.
I dont want this turn into a diss Hamilton thread also, but DC should get a good send off.
Maybe a fixed win?

David Coulthard doesn't like favourtism, so surely he wouldn't accept a fixed win.

David, They say you don't appreciate someone until he's gone. Well now you're going, and we appreciate it.

He has been very wild this year and abit off the rails, but if he leaves us with something equally as good as (Australia 2008) "If he doesnt then I am going to kick three colours of sh*t out of the little bast**d"
Absolutly quality.

He is too gentlemanly (at least in his racing) to do so. ITV should do something special for him, like they did with Schumacher. Despite his occasional whine, I like DC and I will miss him when he's gone.

That would be fair enough, Schumacher got the send off he deserved in '06 when karma caught up with him, maybe Coulthard will get the same karma treatment and get a decent result. :hehe:

I wonder if he'll get a presentation from Pele like Schumi did 2 years ago whilst a certain Mr K Raikkonen nips off to the bogs or even a bar? ;)

It would be nice to see DC finish on podium in Brazil.

Good way to end career.

Yep. If he ends up, somehow, in the lead near the end I do think they should let him win, unless it's Massa behind him (or Heidfeld :)).

He's had a damn good career though, I mean 13 Grand Prix wins, great effort. And he's had a podium this year when he was supposedly 'past it'. Interestingly as did Barrichello, and Wurz last year. Shows that experience counts for a heck of a lot.
