Got a guinea pig going in for a Operation tomorrow, and its a likely chance he wont make it

Hes already got a Central Nervous Problem, that gives him a headtilt and hes off-balance.
And now he has eaten hardly, and has dropped a lot of weight.
Tomorrow he is going to have his back teeth filed, but he might be too weak to wake up, but if he doesnt have the operation we'd have to put him down anyways.
And if he does wake up, he might be even more brain damaged.
Hes getting Probotics today, so try and give some strength.

Hfft, already lost one of my little sweeties in April, so yeah not looking forward to tomorrow.

Well, Emmy's gotten worse over the past 2 days, Dad took her to the vets this morning and her kidneys have totally failed and she can't even walk properly now.

So unfortunately we are having to put her to sleep this afternoon and I words can't describe how upset I am. Now we're down to just Jess but fussing her doesn't feel the same as Emmy.

I'm locking myself in my room for the rest of the day so I won't see or hear the vet come to put Emmy to sleep.

7up, I'm so sorry to hear about Emmy. We had to put my cat Pushkin to sleep a couple of days before Xmas last year because he had a (suspected) brain tumour, so I know exactly how you feel. Even now, I'll walk into my parents house and expect to see him running around

I'm sorry to hear about your cat, 7Up. Pets become such an integral part of the family. I was devastated when my first cat was knocked down and when I had to give my second one back to the sanctuary for health reasons.

I hope your guinea pig pulls through, Hannah. Let us know how he gets on.

I'm truelly sorry for your loss atleast now Ms.Emmy can chase mice in 'Kitty Heaven' pain free. You know one thing I have alway's wondered is when we pass on are we reunited with our pet's who have passed on? I hope so.

Thank you for your kind messages of condolence. I've felt awful all day and contemplated killing myself at some points. I'm not sure if I'll ever get over it, we had Emmy for 16 years to the month.

Han, sorry I dragged your topic off topic. I hope your Guinea Pig comes through ok from its operation and he doesn't get any brain damage either.

But in the meantime I have never seen such total DISRESPECT from these f*****s on another website that I post on and I have known most of the people for over 3 years now. But NEVER have I seen them act so f***ing disrespectfully like selfish pigs!!!! I am going to name and shame them, here's the link if you want to look at this showcase of utter disrespect...

What makes it even worse is that I have known most of the people off that forum in person for a long time and I get s*** thrown at me just because it's a cat whereas on here I have only met Racechick in person but have had more true condolances.

I just feel like going out and punching everyone of those disrespectful f***ers in the face.
