If it wasn't for Nelson, the Singapore GP wouldn't be in such a mess and we could have an potential super close driver's championship race.

I hope Renault will get a new driver to replace him in 2009. NELSON PIQUET really suck!

Thats right, because Massa didn't destroy his own fuel rig and Kimi didn't crash all on his own

Crashes are part of the sport. Pit mistakes are part of the sport. If it were otherwise, we would just dyno the cars and declare a winner. Racing wouldn't be racing without bad luck incidents. Yeah, Ferrari really screwed the pooch this weekend...but Japan may very well go the other way. That is what we love about racing...7 points doesn't mean much. It is Hamilton's to lose at this point...but then he has been there before...and did. Maybe a years worth of growth will help him keep it together this time.

No one else find the timing of Alonsos pitstop and Piquets crash a little suspicious?

Are you suggesting that a professional racing driver could be talked into intentionally shunting his car into a concrete wall? People get killed or bones broken hitting concrete like that. Now, if he had pulled a schumacher and stopped his car in the middle of the worst possible spot....well then, I would get on that conspiracy train with you. As it is though, I have to doubt it. Not saying it's impossible though :D

As I have stated on another topic, IF Nelson is signed for 2009 I WILL EAT MY ARM

Piquet may have had a sub-par season, but you have to remember that this is his first season in the sport with very little experience driving a Formula 1 car prior to it. You can blame the FIA for that. There should be far more testing and development opportunities for younger drivers to get to grips with the sport whilst they are in a testing role for a Formula 1 team. Nelson was great in GP2 and I find it hard to believe that his ability has just disappeared overnight.

Symonds' cattle prod will have caused Piquet to crash.
