What tracks suit who in the last part of the season?

Valencia
Spa
Monza
Singapore
Japan
China
Brazil

I dont know about Valencia and singapore but valencia looks like a high speed track though, maybe suit ferrari.
Spa-Ferrari
Monza- McLaren
Japan-? (if wet McLaren if dry?)
China same as Japan
Brazil-Ferrari.

why do people assume that McLaren are better at street circuits? from what Ive seen Valencia is like Magny cours and Barcelona

I thought it looked like the Circuit de Gilles Villeneuve without the poor surface, so it would favour the MP4-23 - on paper. Let's face it, in Monaco McLaren were not as good as people expected. In fact, Ferrari were in with a great shout of winning. Then, look at last weekend. The track came to the Ferraris fairly soon in the Grand Prix and their race pace was good, albeit that Hamilton was driving a fully-laden McLaren for a lot of it. If you think back to Turkey, McLaren were actually not too far behind Ferrari, and in the two races that followed, McLaren put a lot of new parts on the car which put it on a par with the Ferraris at their supposedly favoured tracks. McLaren's pace was disguised largely because of penalties. The truth is that McLaren and Ferrari have produced better all-round cars for this season, so when you factor in the track surface, temperatures etc. there is not a lot between the two cars. I'm not even prepared to guess who is going to win the remaining races.

McLaren are good on Green circuits, that is tracks that rarely get used and have little grip from rubber build up because of this.
Budapest was a green track and McLaren were strong from the get go, while Ferrari needed the track rubbered in quite abit for it to suit them.

Pretty much in line with Mclaren fan... adding that Ferrari's ultimate pace has also been marred by team and strategy errors, and with a touch of unusual reliability isues. Also, the F2008 seems pretty hard to set up with the current regulations, with Kimi struggling in this department and in Q, while Massa has surely been doing a hell of a job.

But thinking about those damned green circuits and the kerbs at monza... then:

Valencia: Mclaren in Q, Ferrari better for the race
Spa: Ferrari
Monza: McLaren
Singapore: McLaren (possible surprise i.e. Monaco)
Japan: Ferrari, but very close with the MP's superiority exiting hard breaking turns)
China: Ferrari
Brazil: Ferrari

So.. in the end, WDC will be hopefully Massa but probably Kimi :)

Valencia is like Canada without the aggressive kerbs that hamper the ferrari's.
another thing, at McLaren circuits Hamilton is the fastest while there is a good chance a ferrari will come 2nd, while at ferrari tracks its 1-2

The performance of the teams hasn't always been as predicted (from previous perfomance at those tracks) so far this year so I dunno, probably where they aren't equally suited to a track Ferrari might have the edge with the tracks that are left but there have been a lot of factors that have decided the outcome of races this season. I'm hoping that it's mostly decided ontrack from now on and let the best man win.

Forecast for the rest of the season?
Ferrari win's every race and Massa get's his first WDC!!! :wavey:

lol to be honest Id prefer Massa out of the 3 to take the title. Maybe he wouldn't be the greatest of champions, but his hard work deserves it... i mean he has matched Kimi (bar the few stupid mistakes)

I don't care how the races turn out... as long as it's exciting and the titles go to the wire...

Valencia (Don't Know, too guttered to study the track)
Spa (Ferrari)
Monza (McLaren)
Singapore (Same as Valencia have no God damm idea)
Japan (Ferrari)
China (Ferrari)
Brazil (Ferrrai)

Means nothing though. Silverstone was a Ferrari track and we all know what happened there. Hungary was a McLaren track and Felipe Massa dominated until those last 3 guttering laps. So the reality is no one really knows until the end of the race and someone crossed the finish line.

Exactly right so for me there is not point predicting who is going to win races. As long as the competition is intense and fair that is all I am interested in

My custom built racing simulations have revealed the remainder of the season's results as follows:
(SPOILER ALERT. stop reading now if you don't want the ending ruined)

Valencia - Toro Roso
Spa - Force India
Monza - Honda
Singapore - the safety car
Japan - Super Aguri
China - Williams
Brazil - Red Bull

The red car will make a series of tactical errors, spin at each wet race and have their engines blow up on every final lap.
The silver car will be stripped of all points when Ron Dennis is caught spying on Max Mosely's secret rendezvous with Michael Schumacher.
The BMW team have to pull out until next season while Mario goes on an adventure with his brother to rescue princess peach.
The Renault team gets handed over to Bernie Ecleston, who wins it in a game of poker that went a little too far.
Toyota score iota.
