Just as it says...

I love Batman and have been to see the film twice. Whilst the Joker was extremely good, I don't think Ledger's performance is the Oscar-winning cert that some people made it out to be. The way he continuously licks his lips when he speaks was stomach churning. I also enjoyed some of his sick stunts, like making Batman decide whether to rescue the love of his life or Gotham's new white knight. The first time I saw the film, I think the Joker was the stand-out character, but, having seen it again, the major characters are treated more or less equally; it's only because the Joker's sick deeds that he's more memorable. I thought the film started very well. There was a slight lull in the action in the second act, but that was necessary to set the scene for the rest of the film. I didn't really notice it the first time, for I'm interested in the moral aspects of the film, the characterisation and plot just as much if not more than the action. For a long, long time, Michael Keaton was the best Batman, and by quite some distance, but Chris Nolan's work has changed that. The films are have a darker tone than ever before, I really love the realism of the sets, the plot and intellect in the film. If there are problems with the film, it was that Two-Face didn't feature for quite as long as I would have liked, although I can see why he was in the film and there is a lot of scope to bring him back in future, that Batman's voice is far too gruff and that I don't like the Batsuit (Keaton's one was the best). Anyway, I can't wait for the next one. It can't come soon enough.

It was incredible, it's like something I have never seen before, and you never knew what was going to happen next. I thought it was all over after they caught the Joker the first time, but how wrong I was, the movie took another dramatic twist and kept on going.

True say. The action never stopped and I never knew when it was gonna end. One little issue is with Bale's gruff Batman voice. He should just ditch that it makes him sound like a constipated seventy something year old

I'm surprised he didn't get a sore throat from doing it so much. I don't know maybe he might have done... :D

haven't seen it yet but even by the trailers i can see that ledger is being over hyped. I am wary of spending my money on these "blockbusters" but seeing that all of you here seem to like it I might make a trip to the Odeon and check it out

Such an amazing film. I was annoyed with Batmans voice at the start but got used to it in time.
I know what is meant when you say you thought it was over. I looked at my phone thinking "that's it, bit of a letdown" but there was still 1hour plus to go.
Cant get over how amazing it is.

It is released (UK) on DVD on the 8th of December in time for my Christmas present.
Also I heard they were going to re-release it in cinema so it could win Oscars or something.
It wont be anywhere near as good on our TV's compared to the cinema, so I will defiantly go to see it again.

Why so serious, son?

In the nurses outfit haha, I love the 'pencil trick'

I also love Harvey Dent when he becomes 2-face, nicely done
