I was watching the British GP again (itv coverage) and saw the drivers parade. did anyone else catch dc's comments about the rain and his boxers? I think the comment was something like:

"I can feel the water soaking through my boxer shorts. I'm not sure at my age if it's just the rain or I pee'd myself."

I almost pee'd myself laughing at that comment. DC is a cool dude, as is Button. too bad LH is a prick.

Yes, he must be crap if he's managed to stick around for ages, and driven in the top teams for most of his career.

I had high hope's for DC when he was at William's and McLaren but they did not reach fruition. I hope his experience can help RBR step up a few rung's on the preverbial 'ladder'.

David Coulthard was a very good driver, but not a great one. He was a solid pair of hands, worked hard and was a team player. Over the peak of Coulthard's career, the benchmark in terms of how good a driver you were was to measure yourself against Hakkinen and Schumacher. Coulthard was easily bested by both of them.

Well I was being particularly harsh about him. Ive never forgiven him for his meanie comments every chance he got about Juan Pablo (after Juan got his drive ) So you see he really burnt his boats with me then

The only seasons that I can remember Coulthard beating Hakkinen were 1997 and 2001. If you factor in that Hakkinen had a few more mechanical problems than Coulthard, Hakkinen would have beaten him every season.
