Anyway I rate Trulli, I think he is a good driver. But not that good

I Have Rarely Experienced Someone With Such Good Car Control

Jarno Trulli is one of formula one's "underestimated" drivers.
That is the opinion of the Italian veteran's current teammate Timo Glock, who has struggled for pace alongside Trulli, who last week turned 34, since returning to the grid as GP2 champion in 2008.
So far this season, Trulli is winning the qualifying battle against 26-year-old German Glock 7:2, and the points battle 20:5.
"Jarno is underestimated," Glock told the German magazine Auto Motor und Sport. "His former teammates have told me that as well."
Frank Dernie, a veteran engineer who currently works with Toyota, agrees with Glock's assessment of Trulli, who has contested nearly 200 grands prix since 1997.
"In my 32 years in formula one, I have rarely experienced someone with such good car control," Dernie said.

Trulli is a good driver. He's very quick in qualifying, although does let himself down in the races. His race pace has much improved this season, and he's improved it in the past, but fell back into his old ways a lot of the time. For example, in 2003 he was outclassed by Alonso, but in 2004 he got his act together and did better than him at the start of the season. Things the went downhill with Fraudster Flavio and so he got sacked. Overall, Trulli is a quick guy and although he has improved his race pace, he slips back into his old habits and because of that lacks the consistency required to be a champion.

The thing is Trulli is a pretty good driver but ive never seen him blow a team mate away and really show some speed, He had a good chance at Renault and didnt do a lot with it really.
He is probably the best driver for Toyota at the momment but i dont know if he can be WDC material

I like Trulli, so naturally agree with this statement :P

I know in the past few seasons he's had problems with the front Bridgestones on his Toyota graining during races, which supposedly affect him worse than others due to his driving style (this is from an interview in F1 magazine some months back). Now this season the problem seems to have been greatly reduced/gone away completely - and now he seems to be getting more consistency.

He can produce amazingly impressive quali laps on his day, but i've also seen several examples of his racecraft skills: holding off Barichello's much faster Stewart at the Nurburgring in '99 for many laps was, for me, a simply brilliant display of defensive driving.

Sure, not one of the all time greats who have won titles, but definately deserving of that win at Monaco, and maybe a couple more in his career (if he gets the car to do that :banghead: ).

To be honest, even as far back as his Jordan days, Trulli had issues with his race pace.
