Some yrs. ago, a good polish friend of mine in Chicago taught me how to drink Vodka the Polish way:

1. Keep the bottle of Vodka overnight in the Freezer (Vodka won't freeze at freezer temp)
2. Have a cup with ice cold Vodka on your left hand
3. A cup with cold Cola on your right
4. Take a sip from the Vodka
5. Take a sip from the Cola.

repeat while supplies last.
