I bought this game on Saturday and personally I believe its very good. Sure the handling is not sim like and is arcadey, but its an awesome mix of realistic racing with arcadey handling. This may sound utterly crazy but I prefer Grid to Forza 2. I don't understand why but I never really got into Forza 2. I find it to simular to GT4 which I also don't like very much.

I'm getting online in the next 3 weeks so I shall be more than happy to kick some ar*e on Grid.

I love Forza. And the creaters of GRID are the people who are going to make next years Formula 1 game. I doubt I'll get GRID because I hardly play online anymore, but I'm thinking about buying GTA IV today.

Nah theres not as many series' in Grid as in previous Toca race Driver games. However what there is in the game is all really good fun (apart from Drift GP maybe, which is a real pain in the ar*e to get the hang of). If you get it I'll be more than happy to kick your ar*e

When my god damn parents pull their thumbs out their butts and get Wireless internet, I shall be on Xbox Live and happy to race anyone. Plus I have very recently bought an 19 inch HDTV to play my games on... :D

Race Driver: Grid

I bought this game on Saturday and personally I believe its very good. Sure the handling is not sim like and is arcadey, but its an awesome mix of realistic racing with arcadey handling. This may sound utterly crazy but I prefer Grid to Forza 2. I don't understand why but I never really got into Forza 2. I find it to simular to GT4 which I also don't like very much.

It doesn't sound crazy because while I respect what Forza has done I never enjoyed it at all. Even with high-end supercars I felt like I was going for a Sunday drive, and that isn't fun for me. Contrary to popular belief, not all gamers prefer racing simulators over arcady racers; in fact quite a few prefer their racing games a bit more arcady. GRID is easily one of my favorite racing games to date, and I've played hundreds over the past couple decades. I'd play it over Forza or Gran Turismo any given day.

Usually by this point someone wants to suggest, ignorantly, that perhaps my problem with something like Forza is that I suck at it. This assuredly isn't the case. After some practice I got to winning pretty consistently, and still was bored by the game. I just didn't feel like I was racing so much as driving. I can drive in reality, but I need video games for racing.

I really want to get Race Driver Grid for my computer but I'm going to have to get a new graphics car 1st because my current 1 dosen't support it.
