I doubt it will as it was a racing accident and not a failure on the car, s*** happen's.

He might do when he goes past where he crashed last year for the first time on Friday practice, but afterwards he'll be fine.

It won't affect him much. He;ll probably think about it a little when he first passes the site, then get back on with the business of trying to secure BMW their win.

I think he'll be thinking about it less than James Allen will mention it.

Really didn't think he'd survive that one though- beyond the parameters of the tub testing. The reaction from the pit wall says it all-and the initial impact broke the wheel tethers for 3 wheels!

Love him to get a win here though.

Nah, it won't be on his mind. That was in the past, look forward to the future. But I bet James will mention it every quite often.

Won't he be too busy comparing Hamilton to Senna or telling us that the option tyres have a white stripe? :P

I hope that Kubica gets a good result in Montreal, like Heikki would have done at Turkey had he suffered that hit on the first lap. :/

Kubica was asked by Autosport in the past week did his crash affect his driving. Kubica's answer was: 'No.'

Ha.

Robert's accident was one that I found really scary when I saw it last year. All that carbon fibre all over the place, the car spinning and bouncing over the track... And I was only seeing it on the television. I can't imagine what it would have been like in there... :/

It's nice to see that. I think that, if a Formula 1 driver was to be afraid of things like that which they had no control over, they probably wouldn't make it very far.

It looked very frightening - I thought with all the head bobbing, he'd have some serious injuries, head trauma, at least a concussion, but it all sorted out well for him. It was also scary to see the emergency vehicles being there for soooo long.

I would agree, I was glued to the screen, he hit the wall so so hard at speed, the way the BMW was launched into the air, and the way his head was blobbing, it was quite scary

Kubica's crash was a shocker. I really did feel that something serious had happened to him. Not necessarily a death, but maybe a broken limb or some head injuries. That Kubica only sustained a twisted ankle shows how far safety has progressed in the sport, and, to be honest, why you have to take a lot of what people like Coulthard say with a pinch of salt (for instance, his laughable claim that banning traction control was dangerous).
