In Monaco, what goes on on friday?

I think its the same as a thursday at any other gp.

i think it cause they cnt close the roads all day. there r also so many support race they need to find the time

I thought the Principality closed everything down on Friday. But surely they can't.... Its MONACO!!!

Nothing is closed down outside of on-track activity. As soon as the engines go silent on Thu, Sat, and Sun, the track/roads are opened again to the public. The race track goes basically through all three towns that make up the principality. With its size of 0.76 sq mi, the entire country Monaco would comfortably fit inside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway!

Ah right, so it's just to spread the on track activity over four days instead of three so the roads aren't closed for as long each day. That and it'll let the partying start earlier.

Since it's a historic tradition dating way back, I doubt that was the motivation - however, today it certainly provides an incentive NOT to change it to Friday
